I Just Made $75/hr — Thanks, Avon!

This last month has been a little rough for me personally. On April 9, a drunk driver rear-ended my 2015 Nissan Altima SV. I had some issues with the car after the repairs so I upgraded to the 2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum on May 5, 2016. On May 10, 2016, a sleepy attorney fell asleep behind the wheel and rear-ended by brand new baby. That’s right! Five days of ownership and my car has already been hit.

I kept telling myself that everything happens for a reason. Cars are nothing more than material — nice material but still…material. My j-o-b doesn’t look as promising with all the cuts that they’ve made but still, I keep chugging along. It seems like when it rains it pours but there’s always a rainbow after a good rain. I thought about it: two car accidents and I’ve been able to walk away. I may have a few bumps, bruises and cuts but I’m still in fair health. I am more than blessed with that alone but honestly, I still needed a little -pick-me-up. So I began thinking…

I’ve had five promotions with Avon this year and skipped over two of those titles but that isn’t to top it off. I’ve met some very lovely and wonderful people that I call “customers” but they’re more like new friends. My team continues to build and become better giving me a great sense of pride — I love you all. Thinking more about my team, I began to break out of my shell and slowly, began to feel like my natural bubbly self. When one door closes, another opens and I definitely see that with Avon. Maybe this is the little push that I needed. Everything happens for a reason and maybe I needed to get down to see how uplifted I have truly been. Since rejoining Avon, I’ve been walking around on Cloud 9 as if nothing could touch me. I hate to say it, but I may have even taken Avon for granted. It offers so much flexibility and just maybe I forgot what all it has truly given to me since it doesn’t hold the chains of a traditional j-o-b. Avon is my ray of sunshine after a rainy four weeks.

Several of my team members have asked how much do I get paid with Avon. I’m a woman of transparency so I have nothing to hide. I have a long way to go until I hit the big bank status like my mentor but trust me, I’m going to get there. Earlier this week, I visited a relative’s house and she said “how is that little ol’ Avon thing going?” At first I was a little offended. Honestly, I was more than offended, I couldn’t believe the audacity of this woman to speak so ill of my sunshine but I couldn’t fault her. She simply didn’t know. The last she heard from me, I had just started Avon. Neither of us knew that I’d take off so quickly. I take great pride in my Avon business and have done so since the day I realized Avon paid my car note. Thanks, Avon!

I digress. To answer, “how is this little ol’ Avon thing going?” I don’t care if you call it a “thing”, “thang”, or even “thong” for that matter because waking up to an extra $410 in your bank account is damn sexy to me! I work my Avon business about an hour each day if that. In two weeks, I’ve collected $1,500 from Avon and that does not include commissions from my personal sales. Let’s do the math: $1,500 in a two-week period for a total of 20 hours worked (anywhere from 14-20)= $75 per hour. Who else can say that about a part-time income? AvonMoney

I understand that many people will be skeptical so I have absolutely no problem showing it. Seeing is believing.  And many will want to know how I’ve grown my business: mainly online and business-to-business sales. I am planning to spend more time working my business for both personal and team sales so keeping fingers crossed for bigger two weeks.

Stepping outside of the comfort zone with these new liquid eyeshadows. Happy Friday 😘😘😘 . . . . . . . . .
Yesterday, I saw a lot of posts that hurt my heart :( So many beautiful women were heartbroken, discouraged and second-guessing themselves because of bad relationships 😢
How I'm spending this cold day in the house: picking out my makeup for warmer days 😂This is Lip Glow in Rose Quartz. What cha think? Kinda giving me Valentine's vibes ♥️♥️♥️
